Greetings from Paris...
It is astonishing around here that there are cameras everywhere. In the subway, at the train stop, in the churches, cafes...you name it and there is a camera there to record your every move. I dont think that would fly in the US.
About to go on the river tour near the Eiffel tower. Hopefully the tower will be lit up by the time we arrive back at the dock.

Olympic Odyssey
SPM400.Z001 will explore the history of the ancient and modern Olympic Games and their influence on modern sport through first hand exploration of Olympics sites. The business as well as the competitive athletic aspects of the Olympic movement will be studied and the influence the IOC plays on Sport in modern times. The organizational aspects of the IOC will be studied in depth as well as the process used to select an Olympic City. The student will visit four major venues of past and present Olympic activities. They include; London, the site of the 2012 Summer Olympics, Paris the city of the original congress forming the modern Olympic movement. Lausanne, Switzerland, home to the IOC, the Olympic Museum, and the Olympic Studies Centre, and finally Athens the site of the 2004 Olympics and Olympia the ancient home of the Greek Olympics.
